The Africa, America, Asia and the Pacific Accord (A3P Accord) Signing Ceremony during 2024IEC, Taizhou China
On 8th November 2024, the Africa, America, Asia & Pacific Accord (A3P Accord) was signed between the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO), the Pan American Federation of Engineering Societies (UPADI), and the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP).
The A3P Accord covers the Engineering Education Accreditation System and Capacity Development of Graduate Engineering Personnel (Engineer, Engineering Technologist and Engineering Technician), focusing on three main continents.
Photos captured the journey leading up to the significant signing of this landmark Accord by FAEO President, Eng. Kazawadi Papias Dedek, UPADI President, Engr. Aridaí (Ari) Herrera and FEIAP President, Engr. Dr. Aung Kyaw Myat, representing the Global South. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof Dr. Shahbaz Khan from UNESCO and WFEO President-Elect Er. Seng Chuan Tan.
